Re: openssl smime bug on linux kernel 2.6.8-2

Eddy Tan
Hi,

I?ve tried to check if my openssl is running the correct libraries and
it looks like everything the same as yours, but the problem still
occurs. Pls look below...

> Try running 'type' openssl to determine where your exact application
> lives:

# type openssl
openssl is hashed (/usr/bin/openssl)

# ldd /usr/bin/openssl
libssl.so.0.9.7 => /usr/lib/i686/cmov/libssl.so.0.9.7 (0x4001f000)
libcrypto.so.0.9.7 => /usr/lib/i686/cmov/libcrypto.so.0.9.7
(0x40050000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/tls/libdl.so.2 (0x4014e000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x40151000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

I?m not sure if my debian (sarge) box runs a mixed up library, but I
doubt that as it is a new box and everything is installed from the
scratch.

Thanks!
