Subject: After compiling new openssl binary my Java application failing to start
To: [hidden email]

Hi,
 Recently I upgraded openssl to 0.9.8y for Windows 32 & 64 bit plateform. My application is fips compliant. My application is java based which uses JNI to load native libraries. After new openssl libs when I start my application I get following error
04 May 2014 02:30:08,203] [main] [ERROR] [::] [] Error installing to Create: name=bladelogic.service.JNIConfigurationService state=Configured
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: <somedll>: Attempt to access invalid address

I compiled openssl for 64 bit windows using following way. I used fips binaries from old versions as I am only upgrading openssl.
      0) open windows 2005 64 bit command prompt

1)  perl Configure VC-WIN64A fips

--with-fipslibdir=<fips compilation location>

      2) ms\do_win64a.bat no-asm
      3) nmake -f ms\ntdll.mak

Regards,
Alok
